Job Description

Act as a part-time administrative/sales assistant to facilitate the dispatching of workers and service vehicles for conveyance of passengers, while providing exceptional customer service for both internal and external customers. High potential for future growth within company. This is a perfect position for a college student or recent grad looking for exciting, fast-paced part-time work.

Job Functions

  • Answering evening phone calls and transmitting messages to the appropriate parties
  • Relaying any pertinent information regarding transfer to and/or from drivers/affiliates/customers
  • Assisting with some light billing tasks using software system
  • Maintaining quality control by following up with clients post transfer and ensure protection of our company brand
  • Marketing to identify and contact prospective clients
  • Contacting new and existing customers to discuss needs
  • Collaborating with colleagues as needed to meet client needs
  • Maintaining contact lists and following up with customers to continue relationships
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Requirements

  • Must be fully available 9am - 5pm Tuesday and 2pm-10pm Wednesday - Saturday! This position is 30 hours per week average, but shifts will fall into the above availability.
  • This is a hybrid position involving one in-office day (Rosedale area office) and remote work, thus requiring personal cell phone and home internet access.

  • Experience in Safety First environments.

  • Basic computer skills (experience in Excel and Word preferred)
  • Ability to use independent judgment to build and promote free flow of information and communication throughout the organization that will encourage change while maintaining operational success
  • Ability to adapt communication techniques for audiences at multiple levels and use them to decide appropriate problem-solving approach
  • Proven analytical abilities and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively give and receive feedback in a professional and respectful manner that sets the example for others.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Ability to take initiative and effectively problem solve
  • Knowledge of DOT/Dispatch is a plus
  • Prior routing experience in the Limo or Trucking Industry preferred but not required
  • At least one year experience in administrative work preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Weekend availability
