Who We Are
Thoroughbred Financial Services, LLC (TFS) is an independent, full-service financial consulting firm based in Brentwood, Tennessee, with satellite offices in Columbia, Tennessee; Jackson, Tennessee; and Knoxville, Tennessee. TFS, as a licensed Broker/Dealer and Registered Investment Adviser, offers planning and investment services to a select clientele of successful businesses and professionals.
TFS is registered as a Broker/Dealer in 30 states and has a primary marketing area that includes Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, and Mississippi. Forty-three registered representatives are licensed through TFS, 28 of whom are also registered through TFS as investment adviser representatives. The firm has a total staff of approximately 55 people.
Role and Responsibilities
The Client Service Associate provides administrative and operational support to financial advisors and directs all aspects of their business. They help manage the day-to-day activities of the practice. This role requires a client-focused, highly organized individual who can manage multiple priorities at a time, work independently, and support the financial planning process from onboarding through ongoing service.
- Support client onboarding, including account opening, asset transfers, compliance documentation, and required approvals
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client service requests and ongoing account maintenance
- Prepare and draft client correspondence on behalf of advisors
- Maintain accurate client records across CRM systems and physical/electronic files
- Answer incoming calls, respond to routine inquiries, and route communications appropriately
- Assist in preparing client review materials, investment updates, and presentations
- Coordinate follow-ups and ensure timely completion of client and advisor requests

Qualifications and Education Requirements
The ideal candidate would hold a degree in finance, accounting or similar. Additionally, the candidate would have 3 years’ experience in financial services sales support.
Preferred Skills
The applicant must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems such as Redtail (or similar), along with the ability to quickly learn new software.
The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong communication skills.
Success in this role requires patience, follow-through, and a high level of personal accountability, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as needed.
