Position Summary
The Traveling Maintenance Tech will modify, repair, and improve existing products, and equipment, and will assist in developing new or updated machinery, components, or products. The incumbent will assist with maintenance repairs and installations as necessary.
Key Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Travel: sites in Fort Wayne, IN; Auburn, IN; Celina, OH; and Greenville, OH. A company vehicle will be provided within 90 days of employment. Until then, vehicle allowances will be issues. Gas expenses will be paid for by the company.
- Must be willing to travel to an established district for 2 weeks of training. (Mon-Fri) Hotel, food, and gas expenses will be covered by the company.
- Must be willing to travel to Sonny's Car Wash College in Tamarac, FL or Phoenix, AZ
- Tool & Equipment Use: Uses a variety of hand and power tools—including hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches—and operates hydraulic, electrical, and electronic testing equipment.
- Work Order Management: Use the company Operations Portal to review, prioritize, document, and close work orders daily.
- Training & Development: Trains and supports Site Managers to strengthen their preventative maintenance capabilities and ensure long-term site reliability.
- Mechanical & Electrical Repair: Assembles, installs, or repairs wiring, electrical/electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, mechanical equipment, and car wash machinery.
- Other Duties: Performs other related responsibilities as assigned to support overall operations and maintenance excellence.

- Thorough understanding of electronics principles and design
- Clean driving record
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to pull a trailer

- Ability to follow highly complex directions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to life at least 15 pounds.
- Ability to distinguish various colors of wires and distinguish electronic system sections and wiring.
