Gift Shop Sales Associate-Part Time 20-29 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• 
  Greet customers in a friendly manner and provide excellent customer service.
• 
  Answer questions regarding merchandise and wine club memberships.
• 
  Inform of special promotions and promote advantages of wine club membership.
• 
  Process sales as quickly and efficiently as possible.
• 
  Utilize add on selling, cross selling to maximize sales.
• 
  Answer phones as necessary

• Assist at events

Merchandise & Display:

• 
  Accurately receive and check in merchandise deliveries.
• 
  Ensure all merchandise is accurately priced.
• 
  Keep shelves organized and stocked.
• 
  Maintain shop displays.
• 
  Assist in periodic inventories.
• Assist in packing and shipping wine to customers.

Skills & Abilities:

• 
  Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues.
• 
  Ability to work under pressure and receive guidance and direction when needed.
• 
  Ability to lift up to 55 lbs to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• 
  Ability to stand, walk, communicate for long periods of time.
  High school diploma or equivalent.
  Retail or customer experience.
  Cash handling principles and experience.
  Capable of using computer equipment and systems used for retail operations.
  Reliable.
