What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Medical Technician (Full-Time) - Greenville position at Thorne Ambulance Service?
The EMT is responsible for the oversight of operations associated with their assigned unit for the duration of their shift. This includes communication with dispatch, hospitals, etc. In addition, the EMT will be required to respond to various requests for service, and will provide Basic Life Support (BLS) services as requested, and within the clinical guidelines established by the Medical Director. All responses and patient contacts require the efficient and timely completion of patient care reports via an electronic Patient Care Report (ePCR). Other duties may be assigned as availability allows.
