What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Specialist position at Thornburg Investment Management?
The Client Service Specialist will work closely with our Regional Sales Teams to aid and support in various aspects of the sales process. This position will be a member of our internal sales team and report directly to the Supervisor, Inside Sales & ASC.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Sales Team to cultivate new and deepen existing relationships with clients using Thornburg's various mutual fund and separate account products.
- Collaborate with the Investment Consultants and Advisor Solutions Consultants to schedule and coordinate in-person and virtual client meetings.
- Manage and complete back office/ administrative reports aiding in the sales process.
- Maintain contact relationship management database (Salesforce) used by the sales team to track meetings, client information, etc.
- Conduct client research to maintain and enhance data integrity and aid in sales execution.
- Support and maintain Strategic Relationships conference and event process at an estimated 25% of scheduled work time.
- Perform other job duties assigned as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
- FINRA SIE, Series 7 and 66 preferred, or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Prior experience in financial services and/or client service preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
- Self-Starter.
- Computer proficiency.
