Position: Varsity Boys Soccer Coach
Position Summary:
The coach will provide leadership that promotes student-athlete development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and academic success while ensuring compliance with district policies and all applicable rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Successful coaching experience at the high school level or college coaching/playing experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, and community members.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive athletic program aligned with district and athletic department goals.
- Instruct student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategies, and rules of the sport.
- Develop and communicate clear and specific goals for the team and individual players.
- Promote good sportsmanship, teamwork, and character among student-athletes.
- Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and team-related activities.
- Support student academic expectations, responsibilities, and achievements.
- Organize team meetings, equipment inventory, and program needs.
- Represent the school and community in a professional and positive manner.
- Coordinate with assistant coaches and support staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or Building Principal.
Compensation:
11-13% on Step 1 of the BA Salary Schedule.
