About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Project Manager to support a wide range of construction and facility projects, including remodels, rollouts, multi-site programs, special projects, and full-scale refresh initiatives. This role manages projects from planning through closeout, oversees field execution, coordinates vendors and trade partners, and ensures strong communication with clients. Travel will be required for onsite supervision, punch walks, and project assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage diverse projects from kickoff through completion, including remodels, rollouts, refreshes, and multi-location initiatives.
- Oversee scope review, scheduling, budgeting, material tracking, and project documentation.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding progress, risks, deliverables, and next steps.
- Coordinate vendors, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure work meets project scope and timelines.
- Travel as needed to conduct site walks, punch lists, field supervision, and quality checks.
- Review drawings, vendor proposals, scopes of work, landlord/mall requirements, and permitting needs as applicable.
- Identify issues early and provide actionable solutions, escalating critical concerns appropriately.
- Ensure safety, quality, and client expectations are upheld on all active projects.
- Maintain ownership of assigned programs without requiring continual oversight.
- Degree in Construction Management (preferred but not required) or 5 years of relevant trade or field experience
- 2 years of project management experience within construction, retail environments, facilities, or a related industry (preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction processes, trade coordination, sequencing, and field execution
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and field teams
- Ability and willingness to travel nationwide, sometimes on short notice
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage several projects simultaneously
- Proficiency with common tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Teams, and general project management or scheduling platforms
