Role Summary
This is a key role with responsibilities that include the ability to accurately and efficiently verify data submitted by accounting firms to support the preparation and filing of tax returns.
Role and responsibilities
Review, Verify, and Validate tax data submitted by accounting firms to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Utilize an in-house software called 1040SCANverify that leverages Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to extract and process tax data.
Evaluate OCR output for accuracy, identifying and correct discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
Identify and correct missing or incomplete data to ensure tax documents are fully prepared for future processing.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
Basic Qualifications
Proficiency with basic computer functionality and ability to quickly learn new programs.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Ability to type at least 50 words per minute with accuracy.
Be comfortable working in a structured office environment.
Ability to remain focused and productive while performing repetitive tasks for extended periods of time.
Effective time management skills

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $22hr USD.
