Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established clinical standards.
- Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient care and clinical procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and medical records.
- Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment plans, and health management.
- Support preventive care, follow-up care, and patient care coordination.
- Respond appropriately to urgent and emergency clinical situations.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and healthcare compliance procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license License from any U.S. state is acceptable.
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Ability and willingness to work in Shiprock, New Mexico.
- Willingness to commit to a 1-year contract assignment.
Candidates with any of the following certifications will be preferred:
- ACLS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- TNCC Trauma Nursing Core Course
- ATCN Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses
- NLS Neonatal Life Support
Experience in any of the following settings will be an advantage:
- Ambulatory Care
- Primary Care
- Outpatient Care
- Rural Health
- Community Healthcare
- Indian Health Service (IHS)
- Clinical Nursing / General Nursing
