Litigation Paralegal

ThompsonMcMullan, P.C. is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Shockoe Slip, Richmond, VA office.

The ideal candidate will have litigation experience working and managing case files and be familiar with federal and state court systems. The ideal candidate will have experience relevant to an active federal and state litigation practice involving constitutional officers, insurance defense, business disputes, appellate litigation, and more. Experience should include drafting and issuing litigation documents, including pleadings, motions practice, and discovery. Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services while maintaining a high level of accuracy in written and verbal communication. This is a full-time, non-exempt and in-office position. Work hours are 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Monday-Friday with a 30-minute lunch break. The salary range for this position is $55,000- $70,000, commensurate with experience.

Job Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of related work experience in a professional services firm
• Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Willingness to flex as required to meet the need of the hour
• Lift up to 25 pounds
