Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician for a local client in Westminster, MD. Candidates who have a background working as an industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repair are encouraged to apply.
Job Description
Must perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment throughout the facility as necessary and will clean and maintain all areas when not repairing or troubleshooting equipment.
Ideal candidate:
- Must be able to work the 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM shift Monday to Friday. Overtime necessary during peak production times.
- Have at least 3-5 years of electrical experience (480 Volts) and have experience performing hydraulic repairs as needed.
- Must have a demonstrated ability to diagnose and fix issues with industrial production machinery, encompassing a wide range of systems including mechanical components, electrical circuits, pneumatic air lines, and hydraulic fluid systems, effectively troubleshooting and repairing problems as they arise.
- Be reliable with excellent job stability and a positive team attitude and work ethic
- Be willing to help out in different areas as required by the business need
- Previous welding experience preferred
