Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Shop Foreman/Lead Technician to join our service team. Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shop activities, ensuring timely completion of repairs and services
- Lead diagnostic assessments using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately
- Perform complex repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and auto body repairs
- Assist in training and mentoring technicians on automotive repair procedures, safety protocols, and new technologies
- Ensure all work complies with FMCSA standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed
Requirements
- Proven experience with a strong background in diesel diagnostics and mechanical systems repair
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques
- Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, transmissions, suspension systems, brake repair, and wheel alignment
- Familiarity with heavy equipment mechanics, welding, and power tools
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately to diagnose complex issues
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent customer service skills
- Prior experience working in the diesel repair industry with a focus on quality workmanship and safety standards

Pay: $25.18 - $30.33 per hour
