What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL-A Company Driver position at THOMPSON TRANSPORTATION?
CDL-A Company Driver
At Thompson Transportation, we pride ourselves in treating our drivers like family. We know that being home with those you love is important. All of our drivers are home every weekend and we provide two options for our drivers’ weekly runs. Most of our drivers roll out on Monday morning and are back home by Friday evening and no later than Saturday mid-morning. We also provide an option for drivers to leave out Sunday morning and try to get these drivers home by Thursday evening or no later than Friday mid-morning. Our fleet is primarily late model Volvo VNL 760’s equipped with all the amenities such as upper bunks, refrigerators, inverters, tv mount, space for your microwave and plenty of storage etc. We also have a few Kenworth T680’s in our fleet as well. We allow all of our drivers to idle their trucks so don’t worry about getting too hot or too cold. We have a rider and pet policy if interested in that as well. Our freight is 99% no touch. The only thing we are missing is you!
