We are seeking an Electrical Safety Specialist to join our dynamic team and help clients maintain safe, reliable, and efficient electrical systems. In this role, you will combine technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and hands-on field experience to produce critical electrical studies and safety reports.
What You’ll Do
- Develop detailed electrical system models using SKM and/or Easy Power and perform arc-flash, short circuit, and coordination studies.
- Gather essential utility and site-specific information to ensure accurate and comprehensive electrical studies.
- Conduct on-site assessments, install equipment labels, and collaborate closely with field teams.
- Deliver high-quality arc flash reports to clients within 10 working days of fieldwork completion.
- Mentor and support field staff in accurate data collection, documentation, and client coordination.
- Five years of experience in electrical power systems, installations, or construction with a strong grasp of OSHA and NFPA standards and the National Electrical Code.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn SKM, Easy Power, and other industry software.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build client relationships and collaborate seamlessly with colleagues.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with arc flash data collection, mitigation, and SKM/Easy Power software is a plus.
- OSHA 10 or 30 and NFPA 70e certifications are desirable.
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel nationwide, including overnight trips (up to 10%).
