What are the responsibilities and job description for the Classified Substitute (Non-licensed) position at Thompson School District?
A Classified Substitute replaces a classified employee in the event of their absence (can replace most school support staff except teachers and other staff who require a CDE License). Substitute jobs may be in-person or virtual.

Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
The 2026-27 School Year Classified Substitute Pay
Hourly- minimum hourly wage based on specific assignment (see 2026-27 Classified Staff Salary schedule B for more information on the TSD Substitute Portal).
This position does NOT receive benefits.
Classified substitutes can select when and where they would like to work (flexible schedule).
