Job Summary
This role is responsible for developing proposals for repairs with existing customers that are identified during inspections (deficiencies) within assigned territory. D.R.E.’s will work closely with the Operations team to ensure timely and accurate quoting of deficiency repairs.

This role is responsible for developing proposals for repairs with existing customers that are identified during inspections (deficiencies) within assigned territory. D.R.E.’s will work closely with the Operations team to ensure timely and accurate quoting of deficiency repairs.

- Assists the Company in developing repair quotes for existing customers.
- Utilizes CRM technology to document activity and track results.
- Maintains contact with prospects, follows up on proposals through sales calls and phone block.
- Assists in Company marketing programs/initiatives.
- Observes and benchmarks other D.R.E.’s to establish and replicate best practices.
- Consistently delivers deficiency proposals in a timely fashion and within the established time frame outlined for the customer.
- Performs other related duties, non-deficiency sales, goodwill reach outs, etc. as assigned.
- Four-year college degree preferred and/or success in other sales/service positions.
- Familiar with codes, products attributes, and procedures within the fire protection and life safety fields.
- General awareness of business, financials, sales, and safety principles.
- Strong ability to utilize technology to increase the proposal follow-up experience.
- Strong ability to build rapport with prospects and close additional business with existing customers.
- Demonstrated administrative acumen.
- Professional certification may be required in some areas.
- Maintains a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and ability pass a drug and background check.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and talking on the phone, attending virtual online meetings, and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and travel when needed.
