Job Summary:
The Fire Warehouse Manager is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient reprocessing of fire extinguishers in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards, primarily NFPA 10, while maintaining full control of warehouse inventory, asset tracking, and technician support readiness.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directly manages a team of employees
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee recharge, 6-year maintenance, hydrostatic testing, valve replacement, and O-ring servicing.
- Maintain accurate real-time inventory and logs
- Maintains hydrostatic test equipment calibration
- Train warehouse technicians daily operations
Experience & Qualifications:
- Leadership of supervisory experience preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in fire extinguisher service
- Experience managing inventory systems
- Texas Fire Extinguisher License (R or B preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, walking, and talking on the phone, attending virtual online meetings and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and travel when needed
