Service Advisor Job Description
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Listen to customer concerns with their vehicles
- Recommend services and repairs based on customer needs and vehicle requirements
- Prepare accurate estimates and time needed for services and repairs
- Schedule appointments for services and repairs
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services and repairs
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services provided
- Handle cash, credit card, and check transactions
Requirements:
- Experience in the automotive industry (preferred, but willing to provide training)
- Knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance requirements (preferred, but willing to
provide training)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately diagnose problems with vehicles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Cash handling experience preferred
