The Role We're looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Sandwich Artist to work in our kitchen. You'll focus entirely on the craft — prepping ingredients and assembling beautiful, consistent sandwiches that keep our customers coming back.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble made-to-order sandwiches, wraps, and other menu items to Thompson's quality standards
- Follow recipes and portioning guidelines to ensure consistency across every order
- Handle food safely and maintain a clean, organized kitchen workstation
- Restock ingredients, monitor freshness, and flag low inventory to supervisors
- Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks as needed during shifts
What We're Looking For
- A genuine love of food and a pride in doing quality work
- Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail — every sandwich should look and taste its best
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Prior kitchen or food prep experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule & Hours
- 20–24 hours per week
- Daytime shifts only — we close at 3:00 PM, no evenings or nights
