We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Laborer/Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Prepare concrete forms, molds, and frameworks using carpentry, metal stud framing, or other methods to shape poured concrete.
- Operate power tools and hand tools for mixing, pouring, spreading, and finishing concrete surfaces efficiently and safely.
- Install rebar and reinforcement materials to strengthen concrete structures according to schematics and blueprints.
- Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, troweling, and applying textures or patterns as specified in project plans.
- Use heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, or other machinery to transport and pour concrete accurately on site.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to interpret project requirements precisely.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with masonry, stucco application, caulking, flooring installation, tile laying, or other related renovation tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety standards on construction sites.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as masonry or carpentry.
- Mechanical knowledge of tools, power equipment, and heavy machinery used in concrete work.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with rebar installation, form building, and concrete pouring techniques.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as mixers or pumps is advantageous.
