Join our South Beloit, IL manufacturing team and help produce the concrete pressure pipe that keeps communities running. Your day starts early and ends early: arrive at 5:00 AM, wrap up by 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with regular opportunities for overtime and occasional Saturdays.

A day in the life

You’ll move between stations on the production floor: tying rebar cages, laying out welds and fixtures for production, grinding and patching concrete surfaces to a smooth finish, operating hand and power tools, and staging materials for the next run. It’s hands-on, physical work in an industrial environment—hot in the summer, cold in the winter—and you’ll gear up with a hard hat, ear protection, and steel-toe boots. We cover half the cost of your boots (up to two pairs per year) and provide rain and winter gear.

Pay that steps up fast

• Start at $17.31/hour
• $18.71/hour after 30 days
• $20.11/hour after 60 days
• $21.51/hour after 90 days (full Laborer rate set by contract, not a review)

Overtime is paid daily: 1.5x after 8 hours in a day, plus 2x on Sundays and holidays. Most team members work 15–17 OT hours per week. Once you’re at $21.51/hour, that typical OT plus retirement contributions can total about $76,000–$80,000 per year; during your first 90 days, it’s about $62,000–$65,000. Overtime depends on production and is not guaranteed.

Bonuses & retirement

• $100 at 30 days, $200 at 60 days, $300 at 90 days
• Company-funded retirement: we contribute $2.16 for every hour you work after 30 working days—about $4,500/year—and you don’t pay into it

Health coverage

Comprehensive and company-funded: medical, dental, vision, prescription, and disability. We pay $655/month for individual coverage or $1,966/month for family coverage. Benefits begin on the 1st of the month after 30 days.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM (about a 50-hour week with OT), plus some Saturdays. Early start, early finish.

What you’ll bring

Welding focus and tools

Production thrives on efficient welding layouts and setups. Experience with any of the following is helpful:

• MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc welding equipment
• Setting up welds and fixtures for production runs
