As an In Room Dining Server, your duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
Stock, set-up, and deliver all room service orders and property amenities to guest rooms
Retrieve trays from the guest rooms to maintain a neat and sanitary appearance
Be knowledgeable of all services provided within the hotel and all menu items
Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
Ensure correct posting in POS system for communication to the service and kitchen department.
This is a nonexempt (hourly) role. The budgeted rate for this role is $16.90. This is the annual hourly rate for this position that Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual hourly rates will be based on a number of factors including experience, and education.
Qualifications
Previous experience working at a hotel/resort preferred
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Refined verbal communication skills.
Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
