What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Maintenance Technician position at Thompson Packers, Inc.?
We are looking for a Maintenance Worker to perform general maintenance in our production facility. We are a meat processing company, and the work environment stays around 45 degrees. This position requires ON CALL work, WEEKENDS as needed and NIGHTS as needed.
Duties:
- Repair equipment and various machines and appliances
- Identify, document and report maintenance and repair work
- Regularly perform maintenance jobs and light repairs
- Fill gaps and provide painting services
- Perform lighting installation
- Suggest additional repairs when identified and needed
Requirements:
- Electrical experience
- Mechanic experience/Mechanical knowledge
Nice To Have:
- Refrigeration/Ammonia experience
- Welding
- Rebuild motors/compressors
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
