Thompson Houston is now recruiting for a room attendant to join the hotel’s housekeeping team. Previous cleaning experience as well as the ability to communicate to guests preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, ensuring all areas meet quality standards.
- Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces to maintain a pristine environment.
- Replace linens, towels, and other amenities as needed while adhering to hotel standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized properly.
- Assist in the cleaning of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms as required.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
- 1 year of previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight
