Household Assistant & Meal Prep Specialist (Part-Time)
Location: Wise County, TX (Rhome)
Schedule: Approximately 2 days per week (6-8 hours/week, flexible)
Pay: $25–30/hour, depending on experience
About the Role
We’re looking for someone who enjoys creating order, loves healthy food, and finds satisfaction in making a home run smoothly.
This is not a housekeeping position. While keeping the kitchen organized is part of the role, the primary focus is meal planning, food preparation, grocery management, and creating systems that help our family stay organized and prepared.
If you’re the kind of person who opens a pantry and immediately starts thinking of better ways to organize it—or enjoys spending a day batch cooking and stocking a freezer—you may be a great fit.
Responsibilities
- Plan weekly meals with the family
- Create grocery lists and shop for ingredients
- Wash and prep fruits, vegetables, and proteins
- Batch cook meals, soups, broths, proteins, sauces, and freezer meals
- Bake bread and prepare simple homemade staples
- Maintain an organized kitchen, pantry, refrigerator, and freezer
- Track food inventory and keep essential items stocked
- Organize household spaces and develop systems that improve daily routines
- Run occasional errands and assist with other household tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with meal preparation, home cooking, or household management
- Comfortable following recipes and preparing meals from scratch
- Enjoys organizing and creating efficient systems
- Ability to lift grocery bags, kitchen equipment, and storage containers as needed
Schedule
- Approximately 2 flexible days per week
- Opportunity for additional hours occasionally, depending on family needs
Compensation
Starting at $25-30per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
