Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble high-quality pizzas following our recipes and standards
- Operate and maintain wood-fired pizza ovens, ensuring proper temperature and cooking times
- Monitor and rotate pizza dough to maintain freshness and quality
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient execution of pizza orders
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and hygienic work environment
- Collaborate with other culinary team members to develop new pizza flavors and specials
Qualifications
- Must be able to speak clearly and understand basic English to facilitate the communication process.
- Ability to learn menu items and service procedures.
- Ability to take direction and to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Ability to learn and follow processes.
- Previous pizza making experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10–12 hours per shift) during food preparation and service
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds (e.g., bulk ingredients, trays, equipment)
- Ability to perform frequent bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and repetitive motions while preparing pizzas
- Ability to safely work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced kitchen environment, including near pizza ovens
- Visual and manual dexterity to monitor food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and safety standards
