Responsibilities
- Keep the bar stocked with drinks, mixers, and supplies for bartenders.
- Prepare garnishes and set up stations before opening.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
- Assist bartenders during busy times by fetching ingredients and helping with drink preparation.
- Wash glassware and utensils as needed.
- Maintain bar equipment and report issues if they arise.
- Dispose of waste and keep the area tidy.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills to manage the bar area efficiently, keeping supplies well-stocked and accessible.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, anticipating the needs of the bartenders and adapting to changing demands.
- Attention to detail in crafting cocktails and setting up the bar presentation according to established standards.
- Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to engage with both guests and fellow team members in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk continuously throughout shift (up to 8 hours).
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs (cases of liquor, kegs, ice bins).
- Bend, stoop, squat, and reach frequently.
- Push and pull carts or dollies.
- Work in loud, crowded, and fast-paced bar environments.
- Repetitive use of hands and arms for restocking and cleaning.
