Thompson Gray is seeking a Junior Cost Analyst to provide services to a diverse group of customers in the areas of Test and Evaluation, Engineering Services, Program & Acquisition Management, and Product Integration. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Junior Cost Analyst

• Develop cost-estimating models from data collected on programs managed by the PM A3S.
• Provide advice and technical assistance to functional specialists in identifying and evaluating program cost factors and cost impact on program alternatives, in the form of briefings and reports documenting the results of the analysis of system costs.
• Refine and adjust cost models in response to changes in technical specifications, support requirements, design alternatives, engineering, and operational trade-off proposals.
• Develop life cycle cost estimates to determine the total cost of the program.
• Analyze mission requirements to determine cost parameters, specific cost factors and relationships to be utilized in constructing cost models.
• Create or update model formats to include EXCEL spreadsheets or ACEIT cost estimating software that provide a base for the estimating equations and phased reports.
• Respond to cost reporting tasking requests.

Required Experience & Skills:

• DoD Program Office experience
• Demonstrated experience in Cost Analysis, Estimating, Financial Management, and Data Analytics
• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (experience may be substituted for education with government approval)
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Minimum knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products and SharePoint. Additionally, preferred knowledge in Project Recon, Windchill and other applicable applications/processes used in Acquisition Management
• Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT) highly desired
• Eligible for Security Clearance REQUIRED: SECRET
