Key Responsibilities
- Review and redline contracts including vendor agreements, client contracts, NDAs, service agreements, and amendments
- Ensure contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards
- Collaborate with internal teams (legal, procurement, finance, and operations) to align contract terms with business objectives
- Work closely with legal counsel to escalate complex legal issues and support negotiations
- Track contract status, maintain contract databases, and ensure proper documentation and version control
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks; propose alternative language where necessary
- Support contract negotiations with external parties, balancing legal protection with business needs
- Monitor contract performance, obligations, renewals, and key deadlines
- Assist in developing and improving contract templates, processes, and workflows
- Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on contract policies and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of experience in contract management, contract administration, or a related role
- Strong understanding of contract terminology, legal concepts, and risk assessment
- Experience with contract review and redlining tools (e.g., Microsoft Word track changes, contract lifecycle management systems)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with legal and business teams
- Paralegal certification or equivalent legal training
