What will you do as a EC Small Group Instruction Teacher?
- EC Small Group Instruction Teacher's primary responsibility is to provide support, education, and guidance to the youth in their care.
- Learn and utilize the organization’s systems, processes and procedures as instructed
- Display a high degree of being open to coaching/feedback regarding performance
- Contribute to a positive team culture through your actions, attitude, and communication
- Represent the organization internally and externally through your communication and conduct
- Display trauma informed instructional practices and principles in your interactions with students, with peers and with leadership.
- Provide high quality education, guidance, mentoring and support to the children in your program
- Teach middle-high school classes (ELA (Literacy and Writing and some foundational math skills)
- Starting Pay Range: $55-$60k annually

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field with 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Comfortable with foundational mathematics
- NC Teacher License Required
- Exceptional Children Certification Required
- Experience with adolescent youth ranging from 6th-12th grade
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software, excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A valid Driver’s license, at least 3 years of driving with a driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
