Position Summary
The Product Support Sales Manager is the team leader for the EM PSSR team and ensures that customer needs are met at the highest level. The Product Support Sales Manager will support all branch personnel in building a culture of teamwork throughout the Company.
Essential Responsibilities & Expectations
- Coach and direct EM Product Support Sales Representatives in their assigned region
- Monitor, improve, and maintain employee performance
- Ensure team sales goals and Caterpillar initiatives are met
- Ensure a safe working environment is maintained
- Effectively handle customer objections and concerns
- Monitor customer satisfaction and employee morale and take steps to improve when necessary
- Ensure all EM PSSRs understand and are on track with their projected career path and training required
- Develop and recommend incentive programs to enhance results
- Monitor and achieve financial targets
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or the equivalent required.
Experience
- Experience working in parts or service operations and a working knowledge of the earthmoving industry is preferred.
- Experience using personal computers and basic typing skills are required for this position.
