What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beekeeper position at Thompson Apiaries, Inc.?
Duties may include: Workers will assist in all aspects of hive maintenance, including visual inspections, hands-on hive work, medicating hives, pulling honey and moving hives. Equipment used will be forklifts. push carts, trucks and extracting equipment. Heavy lifting involved. Must not be allergic to bees, pollen, or honey & other related Beekeeper activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org). Worker must not be allergic to bees, pollen, or honey.
Possible weekend/holiday work.
