What You’ll Do
Contents Handling & Processing
- Inventory, pack, and transport contents from loss sites with care and accuracy
- Perform detailed contents cleaning including fire, smoke, water, and microbial remediation
- Utilize appropriate cleaning methods such as wet cleaning, dry cleaning, ultrasonic cleaning, and deodorization
- Identify salvageable versus non-salvageable items and communicate findings clearly
- Document all contents using company systems, including photos and condition reports
- Maintain organization and tracking of contents throughout pack-out, storage, and pack-back processes
Structural Cleaning Support
- Assist with structural cleaning following fire, water, or mold losses
- Perform detailed cleaning of walls, ceilings, floors, and building materials
- Execute odor control and deodorization techniques as directed
- Set up and maintain cleaning equipment and work areas
Quality Control & Documentation
- Ensure all work meets company standards and industry best practices
- Complete job documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate discrepancies, damages, or concerns to supervisors promptly
- Follow proper chain-of-custody procedures for customer belongings
Customer Service & Safety
- Interact professionally with customers on job sites with empathy and care
- Represent Thomasville Restoration positively in all customer interactions
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE usage and hazard awareness
- Adhere to OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Who You Are
- You have 2 years of experience in contents restoration, with strong exposure to fire, smoke, and water-damaged contents
- You have experience with fire and smoke cleaning, odor control, and deodorization techniques
- You possess a working knowledge of restoration equipment and specialized cleaning methods
- You are physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in demanding, variable environments
- You demonstrate strong attention to detail and take pride in accurate documentation
- You are organized and able to manage multiple contents processes simultaneously
- You hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation
- You are experienced with contents management software such as DASH, Encircle, or Contents Track (preferred)
- You hold or are working toward IICRC certifications such as FSRT, OCT, or WRT (preferred)
- You are team-oriented but can also work independently in the field
- You are adaptable, solution-oriented, and able to make sound decisions under pressure

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
