About the Role
We are hiring a hands-on Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead daily hotel operations at our economy/extended-stay property in Thomasville. This is a working manager position for someone who leads by example, builds strong teams, and takes ownership of results.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, and laundry
- Act as a working manager—assist staff during busy periods and staffing gaps
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise employees
- Lead team performance, accountability, and workplace culture
- Improve guest satisfaction, cleanliness standards, and online reviews
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Coordinate basic maintenance and ensure property standards are maintained
- Manage scheduling, labor efficiency, and operational costs
- Communicate performance updates and operational needs with ownership
Qualifications
- 2 years of hotel management, hospitality management, or related experience
- Strong experience in housekeeping, front desk, or hotel operations
- Proven ability to hire, train, and manage staff
- Leadership skills with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends if needed
Preferred Experience
- Economy hotel or extended stay experience
- Experience improving operations, team culture, or guest satisfaction scores
- Basic knowledge of hotel maintenance systems
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $30,000 – $38,000 (based on experience)
- Performance Bonus: Percentage of revenue above baseline (uncapped potential)
