Thomaston Savings Bank is a full-service Connecticut community financial institution that has been a part of your community since 1874. Our mission is to empower our clients for financial success and we’re seeking a licensed Financial Advisor to help achieve that goal in the Farmington/New Britain market.
Role Requirements:
- Series 7, 63 and 65 or 66 licenses required
- Undergraduate degree or background in finance or economics is preferred
- A minimum of 3 year of similar or related experience
Summary of Primary Responsibilities:
- Serves as an investment advisor, recommending and implementing investment strategies within scope of authority and expertise. Conducts semi-annual investment reviews to ensure the existing strategies and products meet the clients' current objectives and support current market conditions.
- Identifies and solicits business from potential clients through various referrals, marketing campaigns and personal contacts.
- Partners with branch teams to support product training initiatives and identify cross‑selling opportunities.
- Develops communication strategies to introduce the Bank's alternative investment programs.
- Keeps abreast of ongoing investment developments, products and services, participating in ongoing training programs through Osaic.
- Represents the Bank through participation in various community and industry related activities.

This role offers a base salary plus commission and includes dual employment with Thomaston Savings Bank and Osaic.
