Role Description
HELP WANTED as a FUNERAL DIRECTOR & EMBALMER. Seeking full-time licensed funeral professionals in Central Texas and the Hill Country area to work for a privately-owned funeral home and crematory. Occasional night and weekend duties necessary, based on a rotating team schedule. This is a full-time, on-site Funeral Director role located in San Marcos, TX. The Funeral Director will be responsible for managing funeral services, overseeing embalming processes, and providing empathetic support to grieving families. Other key responsibilities include coordinating with various service providers, ensuring proper preparation of remains, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism during service delivery.

Qualifications
- Must be fully licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer by the Texas Funeral Service Commission, as required by state law
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mortuary Science required
- Expertise in Embalming and experience in Funeral Home operations preferred
- Strong skills in Family Services with the ability to provide compassionate care and support
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and familiarity with funeral regulations
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
