About the Job
We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Inside Technical Industrial Sales Representative to join our team. This role focuses on driving sales of industrial products and solutions by identifying customer needs, providing technical expertise, and fostering strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with a results-driven mindset to deliver exceptional value to customers and contribute to the company’s success.
In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, building and maintaining customer relationships, and promoting our engineering solutions to clients across various industries. Your engineering expertise will allow you to effectively communicate complex technical concepts and provide tailored solutions to meet our clients’ needs.
Travel
- Travel: Readiness and desire to assist account managers at customer locations, 5% daily travel to customers; less than 2% overnight travel.
- Preferred Residence: Local to the Exton, PA office/warehouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our suppliers to provide customers with solutions;
- Quote customer solutions to meet their specifications and requirements;
- Track all open tasks and projects, constantly evaluating the quality of service delivered to ensure they are completed on time and to the customer’s satisfaction;
- Communicate account and project status with internal teams, including sales and sales engineering management;
- Creatively solve complex technical issues and customer needs;
- Maintain up-to-date understanding of technical developments and industry practices (for both yourself and the education of customers);
- Hands on work with assembly, warehouse and in the field;
- Maintain and grow relationships with established customers and manufacturers.

Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering or a related field;
- Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Materials or similar engineering curriculum is preferred;
- 5 years’ experience in business, engineering, production, industrial sales or related field;
- Proficient with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks or Inventor/AutoCad;
- Exceptional attention to detail,
- Effective quantitative and analytical skills; attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Steam, Valves & Automation, Filtration, Rupture Disks and Instrumentation is preferred;
- Proficient with MS Office, CRM, ERP and similar business software applications;
- Valid Driver’s License required;
- Flexibility to provide 24-hour support to customers;
- Ability to obtain a TWIC card.
