Mechanic - Alignment Tech

Thomas Tire & Automotive is looking for a skilled Alignment Tech Mechanic to join our team. We aren’t just looking for someone to turn a wrench; we’re looking for a dedicated professional who takes pride in ensuring every vehicle leaves our shop safer and smoother than it arrived.

As an Alignment Tech, you will be the go-to expert for steering and suspension health, while also supporting our general service team to keep our customers on the move.

• Precision Alignments: Perform professional-grade wheel alignments, including measuring and adjusting caster, camber, and toe to manufacturer specifications.

• Brake & Under-Car Service: Diagnose, repair, and replace braking systems and suspension components (shocks, struts, tie rods, etc.).

• Fluid Maintenance: Perform professional flushes for cooling, transmission, and braking systems.

• General Service Support: Execute high-quality routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and tire replacements/balancing.

• Digital Inspections: Complete thorough Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) to accurately communicate vehicle health and safety needs to Service Advisors and customers.

• Proven experience as an Alignment Technician or Mechanic.

• Strong knowledge of steering, suspension, and braking systems.

• Proficiency with modern alignment machines (Hunter experience is a plus).

• A valid driver’s license (required).

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on "doing it right the first time."
