JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision, the Lube Technicians maintains a variety of equipment including diesel engines, heavy trucks, pumping equipment, lifting equipment and other oilfield related equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleans, lubricates, and performs other routine maintenance work on the fleet.
- Operates and inspects machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
- Examines parts for damage or excessive wear, may assist in repairing and replacing damaged or worn parts.
- Tests mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer’s specifications.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Inspect, adjust, and replace necessary units and related parts.
- Clean and maintain the work area and equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Good computer skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Multi-tasking ability.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible work schedule, including long and/or irregular hours.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to continuously stand & walk
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Frequently push & pull
- Occasionally bend & stoop
- Requires repeated heavy lifting of up to 75 lbs
- Working outside in variable weather conditions to include heat, humidity, cold & wind.
