Master's Degree or Equivalent, and 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE, Inc.) required Experience working as a chaplain within a medical setting required. Experience working as a chaplain within an urban Emergency Room and Trauma Center, strongly preferred. Experience and expertise working with a Muslim population. Congregational or other clergy experience a plus. Knowledge of major faith groups, pastoral theology, dynamics of loss and grief, and of crisis theory and intervention. Recognition of being in good standing within faith group. Evidence of ability to learn new computer software programs. If hired after September 2013, Board Certification (or eligibility for). Certification required within 24 months of hire.
