Duties
- Accurately pick and package orders for shipment.
- Perform heavy lifting and move products throughout the warehouse as needed.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against invoices.
- Maintain organization of the warehouse by properly storing materials and supplies.
- Fabricate packaging materials as required to ensure safe transport of goods.
- Adhere to OSHA safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory levels and order processing.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes.
- Experience with order picking and packaging techniques is desirable.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
