What You'll Do
- Manage civil site development projects for residential, commercial, and industrial clients
- Prepare and oversee the development of construction drawings for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure
- Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and ensure successful project delivery
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, maintaining strong communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead and support proposal preparation and fee development efforts
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to support design development and project execution
- Oversee engineering work and ensure alignment with project goals and company standards
- Support and mentor junior engineers and team members
- Manage tasks to meet scope, schedule, and quality objectives
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
- 5 years of experience in civil engineering design
- Experience producing site development plans for residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects
- Experience managing civil site development projects in a consulting environment
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3D
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-facing focus
- Strong leadership abilities and experience working within project teams
- Understanding of business metrics for project success
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and appropriately prioritize workflow
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
