Position Overview:
Thomas Hart Academy is currently accepting applications for a Middle School Math Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.
The successful candidate will be a dedicated educator who is passionate about mathematics education and committed to creating an engaging, supportive, and challenging learning environment for middle school students.
The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop confidence in their mathematical abilities while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a love of learning.
Qualifications:
°Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field required.
°Middle level mathematics certification preferred; candidates actively pursuing certification may be considered.
°Strong academic background in mathematics coursework.
°Experience teaching middle school students preferred.
°Ability to effectively teach and support a diverse group of learners.
°Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
°Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
°Knowledge of effective instructional practices, assessment strategies, and innovative teaching methods.
°Ability to assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback to students, parents, and administration.
°Knowledge of instructional technology and the ability to integrate technology into classroom instruction.
°Willingness to collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
°Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, faculty, staff, and administrators.
