Job Summary
Boyd Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinic Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Rural Health Clinics. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills to ensure efficient clinic operations while maintaining high-quality patient care and compliance with healthcare policies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage clinic staff, oversee scheduling, and ensure a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management: Supervise daily clinic operations to ensure smooth workflow, efficiency, and resolution of operational issues.
- Staffing & Scheduling: Manage clinic staffing needs, approve time-off requests, and coordinate coverage as necessary.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure clinic policies align with federal, state, and hospital regulations, including HIPAA and compliance standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Assess staff performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for professional development.
- Patient Experience: Foster a welcoming and patient-centered environment by ensuring excellent communication and service quality.
- Payroll & Administration: Oversee clinic payroll, track attendance, and manage employee records.
- Collaboration & Communication: Act as a liaison between clinic staff, hospital administration, and external providers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Technology & Documentation: Maintain knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and oversee the accuracy of patient data and medical documentation.
- Staff Training & Development: Assist in the training and orientation of new providers and staff members, ensuring alignment with clinic objectives.
- Inventory Management: Maintain adequate medical supplies and equipment necessary for daily clinic operations.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Nursing, or a related field preferred OR related managment experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinic management, healthcare administration, or a related role.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards, HIPAA regulations, and medical office procedures.
Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage clinic workflow efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
