About the Role:
The Senior Manager of Materials Planning & Supply Coordination is responsible for ensuring the availability of materials required to support production while maintaining compliance with regulatory and traceability requirements. This role requires strong leadership, deep experience in materials planning and supply chain operations, and the ability to drive alignment across a complex, regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Materials Planning & MRP
- Execute and manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to support production schedules
- Ensure material availability aligns with Master Production Schedule (MPS)
- Maintain accurate planning parameters and inventory levels
Supplier Coordination
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely material delivery
- Track supplier schedules and resolve delivery issues
- Support supplier performance monitoring and escalation
Long-Lead & Risk Management
- Monitor and manage long-lead components critical to avionics production
- Identify and mitigate supply risks and shortages
- Manage component obsolescence, especially for high-reliability electronics
Compliance & Traceability
- Ensure compliance with ITAR and export control regulations
- Maintain component traceability and lot control requirements
- Support audit readiness and documentation for regulated environments
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Partner with production planning, engineering, and program management
- Align material plans with program milestones and delivery commitments
- Support resolution of material-related production constraints
Required Skills, Experience and Behaviors:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or related field
- 8–12 years of experience in materials planning, supply chain, or production planning
- Experience in aerospace, avionics, or regulated manufacturing environments strongly preferred
- Inventory planning and supply-demand balancing
- Supplier coordination and delivery management
- Obsolescence management and lifecycle planning
- Familiarity with: ITAR / export control requirements, component traceability and lot control practices, experience working within regulated aerospace or defence supply chains.
- Strong experience with: Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Capacity planning (RCCP, finite scheduling), ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, constraints, and production workflows.
- Experience managing complex, multi-product production environments.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and coordination skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Base salary range of $115,000k - $125,000k per annum. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, including but not limited to location, skill set; relevant experience; internal equity; and other business and organizational needs.
