About the Job
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor role is a high‑visibility, high‑impact leadership role within the Processing Department at TFI USA.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensures proper planning, staffing, and direction of the operational functions of the production process;
- Reviews all operations performance daily to ensure optimal production is reached;
- Manages production staff;
- Ensures proficient training, staff development, and effective employee relation/recognition is achieved for all operational personnel;
- Maintains pertinent operational statistics and results reporting;
- Meets targets on overall business level & ensuring desired Service Level Agreements are met with optimum quality & service;
- To develop and coordinate changes in staffing schedules;
- To generate, review and manage process and facility SOP’s;
- To support and drive Quality Assurance systems which ensures this new processing facility meets and exceeds USDA food processing standards.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a structured employee training program.
Requirements/Education/Experience/Skills
- In excess of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the beef grinding and further processing industry.
- Knowledge of all aspects of operations
- Excellent conflict resolution skills
- Computer knowledge required.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred in related field or in lieu of degree work experience
- Ability to work under and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
- Ability to interpret and comprehend Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ability to pass a Drug Test
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
