Position Overview
We're looking for a friendly, motivated Retention & Sales Specialist to join our team. In this customer-focused role, you'll handle incoming calls from existing clients, provide excellent policy service and support, and identify opportunities to help both current and new customers with their insurance needs—including quoting and selling additional or new policies. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and earning uncapped income through sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls promptly and professionally to assist with policy questions, changes, billing, claims support, and coverage reviews.
- Perform policy reviews and recommend appropriate adjustments or enhancements to ensure clients have the best protection for their homes and vehicles.
- Proactively retain existing business by addressing concerns, explaining coverage benefits, and delivering outstanding service to minimize cancellations.
- Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities with current clients (e.g., adding home to auto, umbrella coverage, etc.).
- Quote and sell new insurance policies to both existing customers and new prospects who contact the agency.
- Maintain accurate records in our agency management system and follow all AAA compliance standards.
- Build long-term relationships to support high client satisfaction and annual renewals.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary of $40,000 per year.
- 10% commission on new and additional sales you generate.
- 10% residual/renewal commission paid annually on the book of business you help build and maintain (structured as an annual raise/incentive).
- Opportunity for significant earning growth through sales performance (uncapped commissions).
- First year earnings between 50k-70k
- Second year earnings between 60k-80k
- Third year earnings 70k-90k
- daily incentives for hitting specific goals and completing tasks.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
