What are the responsibilities and job description for the Backhoe and Mini Ex Equipment Operator Electrical position at Thomas Electrical Inc.?
We are currently seeking a Commercial Electrical Equipment Operator with experience operating mini excavators and backhoes who is also a skilled electrician. This position supports trenching, conduit installation, and other excavation work on commercial electrical projects.
Requirements:
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience operating mini excavators, backhoes, or similar equipment with certifications
- Commercial electrical experience (conduit, wiring, trenching, etc.)
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and site plans
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to jobsite protocols
- Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in underground electrical infrastructure
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced commercial construction environment
- Certifications Required
