Thomas Cooling & Heating, LLC is a Winston Salem based residential HVAC company. We are looking for a residential service and maintenance technician to grow with our company.
Job Description
As a Residential Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician, you are responsible for ensuring the comfort and safety of our clients' homes. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems. You will interact with customers to provide HVAC solutions that will enhance their homes comfort. Strong technical skills, customer service, and knowledge of HVAC standards are important to ensure customer satisfaction.
What you’ll do
Diagnose HVAC systems and perform the necessary repairs to ensure systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
Help with installation of residential HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Work with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
High school diploma or its equivalent.
HVAC certification.
Residential service diagnostics and repair within the last 1 - 2 years.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a drug & background check.
Must be able to read and write English.
Must be able to climb ladders, work in attics and small crawl spaces.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years in residential HVAC service technician experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills to address complex system challenges.
